Drop your house wares, jewelry, collectibles, etc. at the Consignment Shop, church or contact Dorothy Shumaker at 896-8160. Learn to crochet or knit! God's Handiwork is about and for people who like to knit or crochet or who want to learn these crafts. We will supply the yarn for making pot holders, dish cloths, mittens, scarves, afghans to be given to different ministries around the county.We will be meeting every other Tuesday afternoon 2 PM to 4 PM at the House on the Hill starting September 13th thru December 6. Weight Watchers Meetings Weigh-ins will begin Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m., meeting at 5:30 p.m. The leader will be Bonnie Kinch, a retired Upper Dauphin teacher and freshly-trained Weight Watchers leader. Spread the word among your friends that Weight Watchers is back in Halifax! A Pinochle Card Party will be held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Cost is $1.50. Everyone welcome. Family Ministries invites you to come join our supper club, contact Bob or Bette Baker at 896-3208 for more information and become part of a supper club group.It's a great way to meet others from the congregation. YOU are needed to serve at DOWNTOWN DAILY BREAD Volunteers participate the 3rd Sunday of each month - Arive at Downtown Daily Bread at 12:00 Noon, serve, cleanup and finish by approximately 1:30pm.
