Family Ministries is trying to help grow relationships within the congregation.  A suggestion has been presented that will build new and exciting relationships within this body of Christ.

How many people within the church do you actually know?  Would you like to get to know more folks beyond just recognizing their faces or maybe just knowing their names?  Do you enjoy stimulating conversation and good food?

Groups of 8-10 people will form to meet once a month for 3 months (at the convenience of the group) for a meal and conversation.  Then new groups will form and new relationships will be built.  The object is not to be in a group with people you already know but to broaden your scope of friends.  By getting to know others we can care and share with those who we probably only see once a week at church but really don’t know.  We can rejoice with the blessings and share in the sorrows of each other.

Each group will have a Host who offers the home for the dinner.  Participating members will share in the preparation of the meal.  Whether to have a pot luck or a more themed meal is up to the discretion of the group.  There are no hard and set rules.
